“Drinking with Don Quixote” relocates the core of Cervantes’ infamous novel to northern England in 2010 but retains the 17th century Spanish flavour of the original. *
The action depicts the insane musings of an aging, chivalry-obsessed and severely unbalanced man as he recruits a side-kick and sets out to conquer the giants, and evil-doers of his imagination. *
The production employs physical theatre, live music, and dance to depict the adventures of the duo and the desperate attempts of their friends and relatives to restore them to safety and to sanity.
Please note: this production contains imaginary windmills.
